By January of 2000, the new Learn & Earn site had been launched. The administration of the site had moved from our own group (Apple Channel and Sales Training) to Apple's corporate IT department, as we were now backed by an enormously complex WebObjects-backed site. While we were now able to handle the almost 15,000 site members, content production was still a complex and often very time-sensitive process.
After a six-month process during which I managed the conversion of over 1,500 pages of course content to work with the new site, we returned to the grind of announcing new products to Apple's sales channel. I worked closely with course developers, editors, graphic artists, HTML editors, systems administrators, and program management to make sure the accurate and engaging information was posted just-in-time.
